Scope and ContentAdvertises the Tunnel as a visitor attraction.
Three illustrations show:
a traverse section of the Thames with projected tunnel sectioned beneath;
the two arched entrances to the Tunnel from the shaft;
the iron shield with a workman in each of the compartments.
Also includes 'Plan of the Roads and main Objects on the Eastern Part of London as connected with the Tunnel excavating under the Thames from Rotherhithe to Wapping projected by M.I. Brunel, 1827'. Printed by Teape & Son, Tower Hill.
